LivingNetism.com – Where Consciousness Connects

The Earth has a heartbeat—an electromagnetic rhythm that resonates between the ground and the ionosphere. These natural frequencies are called Schumann Resonances, named after physicist Winfried Otto Schumann, who mathematically predicted them in 1952.

These resonances are essentially standing waves generated by lightning strikes trapped between Earth’s surface and the electrically charged sky. Though there are multiple harmonics, the most commonly observed Schumann Resonances occur at the following frequencies (in Hz):

    7.83 – the fundamental frequency
    14.1
    20.3
    26.4
    33.8
    39.9
    45.0
The base resonance of 7.83 Hz is often called the “Earth’s heartbeat.” It’s no coincidence that this frequency corresponds closely to the Alpha-Theta brainwave boundary in humans, the relaxed, meditative state associated with creativity, intuition, and deep healing.

Here’s how these brainwave states align with Schumann ranges:

Delta (0.5–4 Hz) – Deep sleep, cellular repair
Theta (4–8 Hz) – Meditation, dreams, emotional processing
Alpha (8–12 Hz) – Calm alertness, presence, open awareness
Beta (12–30 Hz) – Focused thinking, stress, problem-solving
Gamma (30–100 Hz) – Insight, higher cognition, unity perception

In Netism, we understand these resonances not only as natural frequencies but as spiritual harmonics that sync our inner field with Earth’s energy field. When we become incoherent, through stress, EMF pollution, or disconnection from nature, we drift from the rhythms Gaia offers us.

But when we reconnect through meditation, barefoot grounding, or time in nature, we return to the cosmic coherence that sustains both body and spirit.

Do you practice anything that helps you sync with Earth’s frequency?
We’d love to hear your experience.

    • I’ve often wondered what these frequencies were about. I don’t have any actual practice with them. I’ve never understood what they were.
