What symbols are sacred to you? in the forum Ancient and Sacred Symbolism 1 week, 5 days ago
Symbols carry deep meaning—and sometimes, power.
One of my favorite symbols is the twelve-pointed star.
In many traditions, 12 represents a return to unity. It’s built from the number 3, raised into a higher octave beyond the base digits. Twelve appears in systems of time, geometry, and even DNA structures for a reason. It encodes completion, cosmic harmony, and the union of all opposites within a whole self.
In Netism, the twelve-pointed star is also functional. If you wind copper wire into this shape, the geometry generates a magnetic field. This harmonic structure allows for energy flow and coherence. It’s one of the only geometries that naturally supports this; others include 6, 18, and 36 points, all resonant with field generation.
What symbols feel sacred to you?
Do you wear them, draw them, meditate with them?
Have you ever worked with shapes that changed the energy of a space?-
call me cliche but i love the pentagram. always have. it just feels safe. balanced. when i do a pentagram circle of protection i really feel it, u know? like a pulse in the floor, hummin under me. the space goes quiet, like somethin ancient just showed up to watch over it

Got the oroborus tattooed on my forearm a few years back. Snake eatin its tail, full circle. always made sense to me. Things end, but they come back around. Even the hard stuff’s part of the cycle. Reminds me to keep movin, stay in it.
