Netism understands time’s flow as cyclical. It flows in great cycles of awakening and forgetting. Ancient traditions worldwide describe a series of Yugas, or ages, that mark the rise and fall of human consciousness.
We are using a timeline model different from the one that spans over 4 million years. This version understands the Yugas as repeating within more manageable cycles of roughly 24,000 years, allowing us to see real shifts in recorded history.
According to this model, we’ve just emerged from Kali Yuga, the Age of Darkness—an era defined by materialism, spiritual disconnection, and centralized control. We are now in the early stages of Dwapara Yuga, the Age of Energy. This age brings rapid technological growth, spiritual curiosity, and an expanding awareness of the subtle fields and forces that govern our reality.
Signs of the shift are everywhere: the rise of energy healing, interest in ancient wisdom, the breakdown of old systems, and a growing number of people questioning the official story. The age of Dwapara will last 2,000 years. We have only just begun, and we still have much carryover from Kali. Boundary lines are vague, like a color wheel slowly fading from one shade to the next.
We are on the ascent, finally, but we still have a long way to go. Human consciousness won’t begin to know unity until Treta, the age dominated by thought. Through Treta, we gain respect and empathy for one another, to lead into Satya, the Golden Age, beginning around 7,700 C.E.
Not everyone is ready for a shift in consciousness. Some still cling to Kali values and resent the world’s progress. Netism invites and encourages awakened thinkers to come together in discussions and communities. Through personal evolution and a life that minimizes harm, we can help lift the Net and inspire others to do the same.
