That which separates distorts. That which unifies brings coherence.

Any spiritual path that cultivates an “us against them” mindset has drifted from its most essential truth: all are one. Unity stands as the most fundamental value of spirit. Vision that sees no separation rests closest to the Source. Separation breeds distortion and feeds fear, competition, the urge to perform for approval, jealousy, anger, and more. Unity with a willingness to let go brings peace.

Coherence arrives as alignment, often as the result of meditation, where we feel the unity of everything. This unity extends past empathy; we don’t care for another because we feel their pain, we care for others because they are us.

Religion serves as a language of spirit, personal and intimate, shaped by culture and story. Languages vary while meaning remains. What matters most is that the message encourages growth, compassion, and acceptance. When a teaching, or the reading of it, stirs fear or guilt, that signal invites reassessment and a return to the center. Choose the fruit that nourishes courage, clarity, kindness, and presence.

Its sad when you see division within the yoga community. People who are about love and light can come with just as much drama as everyone else! I stay out of discussions where people are badmouthing other people or groups. Not going to feed the negativity!

This speaks to me on a deep level. Deep down, it don’t matter what practice you call spirituality. The fact that you have one is a good thing until you let it separate you from other ppl. When it starts tearing down community you got problems.

Have sum family members who r split politicaly. NGL its hard sometimes to get together unless we stear clear from sum touchy subjects. We forget, esp w ppl who r not in our family, that we all have common ground. I try to find stuff I like or and like in everyone I meet. When u look for similarities instead of counting differences, ul see theres a lot
