In Netist understanding, the self is not a single, indivisible unit, but a constellation. Your true being is vast, and what you experience in this lifetime is just one expression of it. A soul shard is one piece of a larger whole, like a ray from a star, or a branch from a deeper root.
Soul shards are incarnational fragments that carry specific aspects of your total consciousness. They may exist across different times, dimensions, or worlds. Some are living out parallel lives right now. Others belong to past or future incarnations. Some may not even be human.
These shards are separated only by experience. They remain tethered to a unified field of selfhood, which Netism calls the Atumic Core. Through meditation, deep synchronicity, or energetic resonance, it’s possible to sense or even make contact with other shards of your being. This is often experienced as déjà vu, inexplicable recognition, or powerful emotional flashes that seem to come from somewhere else.
Soul shards are fragmented by design. They give us the opportunity to incarnate in the lower cycles, where an entire soul could not enter. The fragments allow us to experience life, and each experience matters. Our mistakes are transmitted throughout our soul body, sending subconscious messages for our other incarnated shards to ignore or pay heed to.
We’re not separate from our other shards, although we won’t see them physically in our lifetime. Each lesson they learn is embodied in us, rooted in our subconscious. If we slow down, find our center, and practice stillness, we will be able to sense them more clearly. We’re not alone, we never have been. We are part of a grand collective, and both our failures and successes contribute to the whole.
Have you ever sensed another version of yourself in a dream, vision, or memory?
