Aura colors reveal vibrational tones that reflect the state of body, mind, and spirit. Before Edgar Cayce died, he wrote down a document that described how aura colors reflect in people. He watched auras all his life, and his work is worth paying attention to. Nicknamed “the Sleeping Prophet” for his ability to enter a trance and answer questions about the past or correctly diagnose people’s medical conditions. He described how he could connect to some brain somewhere in this state, and give the diagnosis, but wouldn’t recall upon waking. This is what Netism describes as tapping into the Net directly. What Cayce really was demonstrating was the potential that all humans have, though it is rare for anyone to accomplish now. Eventually, as humanity progresses more towards the higher ages (another 3,000 years) these abilities will be more accessible to the human collective.
This is a summary of Cayce’s energy fields. The full document is available free to the public here:

I fully recommend reading the whole thing, as well as his other works, which are also public domain on internet archive.
Red
Red speaks of force, vitality, and action. Deep red points to high tension and quick temper with strong will and restless nerves. Light red shows an impulsive doer who moves fast and often centers life on the self. Scarlet signals an excess of ego. Pink or coral reflects youthfulness and delayed maturity. Mars aligns with this stream, and in older symbolism red carried the weight of struggle and sacrifice.
Orange
Orange carries solar vitality. It often belongs to thoughtful people who consider others. Golden orange shows life force with steady self control. Brownish orange suggests low ambition and a casual attitude, and it can hint at kidney strain. In early Christian color lore orange meant glory, virtue, and the fruits of the earth. In music this current matches the note re.
Yellow
Yellow is the color of mind. When golden it reads as health, balance, and clear thought. These people learn easily and lend a friendly hand. A ruddy or muddy yellow can show timidity, self doubt, and wavering choices. Mercury carries this current, and the musical note is mi.
Green
Pure emerald, especially with a touch of blue, is the healer’s color. It is helpful, strong, and friendly, and many caregivers shine with it. When green leans toward blue it grows trustworthy. When it leans toward yellow it weakens and can drift into deceit. Deep healing green appears less often, though a little of it in any aura is a gift. Saturn holds this stream, and the note is fa.
Blue
Blue is the color of spirit, contemplation, and the high mind. Deep blues belong to people with purpose who work steadily for large aims. They can be moody or unusual, yet they carry a sense of mission and devote themselves to it. Pale blue shows less depth and an early stage of development. Jupiter rules this current, the musical note is sol.
Indigo and Violet
Indigo and violet belong to seekers of meaning and those drawn toward religious or spiritual experience. As life purpose clarifies, the current often settles from indigo into a deep, steady blue. Purple that carries much red can feel overbearing and may echo heart or stomach strain. In Cayce’s mapping, Venus aligns with indigo and the note la. The Moon aligns with violet and the note ti.
White
White is the perfect blending of all colors. It shows harmony and full balance, the soul at peace and radiant with pure light. This is the ideal that spiritual life aims toward, the aura of completion.
General notes from Cayce
An aura is an effect rather than a cause. Colors arise from the vibrations of body, mind, and soul, and they shift with temperament, environment, and growth. Darker tones often show strong application and will. Lighter tones often show sensitivity and changeability. The field gathers most densely around the head and shoulders. Motion and shape also speak. A smooth rolling field hints at a teachable child. Sharp points and a flashing edge hint at a very self directed nature. In some healers a green field quivers as sympathy rises. Little hooks of light can mark an overseer who directs and leads groups.
