Why You Shouldn’t Use Raised Beds, and What You Should Do Instead in the forum Gardening & Electroculture 4 days, 7 hours agoGlad I caught this BEFORE I put in the raised beds I was planning to do this year. They are expensive but they are everywhere I thought it would be such a good thing for plants. Turns out it’s another cash grab and nature does it much better. Going to share this with a friend of mine too.

Why You Shouldn’t Use Raised Beds, and What You Should Do Instead in the forum Gardening & Electroculture 5 days, 1 hour agoRaised beds are popular, but require more money in wood and potting mix and work against nature. Bagged soil is usually dead soil from a biological perspective.
Healthy soil is a living system. A small amount of soil can contain billions of microbes. Fungal networks act like long-distance plumbing and nutrient delivery for plants. Most…[Read more]

How Magnetic Seed Exposure Can Help Your Plants in the forum Gardening & Electroculture 1 week, 2 days agoPersonally I’ve seen great results, which is why I post about it. I experimented with simple coil antennas in my garden last year and was blown away by their effectiveness. We had zucchini growing up to a foot and a half long! Squash really responds well. I’ll be applying more techniques this year and documenting it. A lot of the naysayers really…[Read more]

How Magnetic Seed Exposure Can Help Your Plants in the forum Gardening & Electroculture 1 week, 6 days agoExposing a seedling to the SOUTH side of a magnet can have tremendous effects on its likelihood to sprout and thrive.
Note: this is still the same whether you are on the Northern or Southern Hemisphere
This is important because the North side can have the opposite effect, hindering growth or stopping sproutingYou can do this in two ways:

Companion Crops, Because Nature Doesn’t Flow in Straight Lines in the forum Gardening & Electroculture 2 weeks agoA garden behaves like a living network. Every plant changes the light, wind, moisture, soil biology, and insect traffic around it. Companion planting is the practice of arranging crops so those effects stack in your favor.
Benefits of companion planting include reduced weeds (less room for them to grow), less pests (when the right crops are…[Read more]

Do your plants respond to your energy or mood? in the forum Gardening & Electroculture 6 months, 2 weeks agoDefinitely! I have a habit of humming when I’m gardening because I love to sing and write music. I fully believe that my singing has a lot to do with the growth of my plants. They like heartfelt communication, and music definitely fulfills that request!

Have you tried using copper wires, antennae, or coils in your garden? in the forum Gardening & Electroculture 6 months, 2 weeks agoI’ve used coils, the straight ones didn’t work too good. You know the ones where it’s mostly straight with a spot in the middle where it turns… I tried winding a wire all the way around a wooden pole and I can see my plants improving. I’m still a novice at it, but I fully believe that channeling the Earth’s currents is an important part of gardening.
