This is a space for artists, musicians, writers, and creators of all kinds to introduce themselves and share what moves them.

I am a writer. I feel like my drive was always in me, but unfocused. My mind can wander a lot of places, but when I’m researching for a book or writing, I enter an entirely new mental space. I’m not worried about mundane things anymore; I’m focused on the mechanisms of the Net.

Any type of creative expression is considered an act of heka, a practice described in Netism as actively weaving threads. We take strands of inspired thought from multiple areas and pull them together into something entirely new. What is your passion, and what led you to create?

I’m a guitar player. Been obsessed with it since I was a kid. I used to lock myself in my room for hours just tryna hit the weirdest solos I could think up, tryin to sound like Alexi Laiho or Dimebag. Metal was the first thing that made me feel alive. Playing guitar feels like tuning into something invisible. Some riffs feel like memories. Like I didn’t write them, I remembered them
So yeah… that’s what moves me. Still figuring it out. But the Net thing? Makes a lotta sense.
