      Every being is a node of the Net, and every node carries the pattern of the whole. Your mind can open a doorway into that fullness. You do not leave your body. You widen awareness until the field that lives within you and the field that lives around you feel like one continuous space. This is a practice of presence, consent, and clear intention.

      The Net is a living field. We tune into it. by tuning ourselves. In the meditative state alone, the two hemispheres of our brain sync. This kind of synchronization doesn’t occur in sleep, which is why meditation offers health benefits beyond what sleep can provide.

      This alignment is what gives us access to the whole. Reaching this state, maintaining focus, and directing travel takes practice, which is why routine is important. Just like shorter repeated exercise makes more of a difference over time than sporadic, intense workouts, our meditation muscles strengthen, too.

      Use your favorite breathing technique to enter a meditative state
      Imagine a sphere of awareness the size of your head. Let it expand to the size of your body. Let it reach thirty to sixty centimeters beyond the skin in all directions. Do not force it. Sense temperature shifts, subtle tingles, or a gentle feeling of space. Let all energy channels go in complete relaxation.
      Only once you are in this state of complete balance, bring a single question or intent to mind. Be patient.
      You might get the sense of being swept into a current or have the vision of a tunnel in front of you. Enter it with trust as an answer to your request.
      Let whatever comes come and be receptive. Don’t try to interpret immediately. Process the symbols without judgment.
      When you are ready, return your focus to your body, feeling the sensations and glow you sensed earlier.
      Slowly move your hands and feet, then rise when you have regained full sensory awareness.
      Write down (or type out) your experiences.
