For millennia, aether was considered the invisible medium that carried light, sound, and even consciousness. It appeared in the writings of mystics and alchemists, and it was in the foundation of electrical field theory. The world’s brightest minds of the turn of the century: Steinmetz, Tesla, and Maxwell, all understood aether to be an integral part of the universe.

Then, almost overnight, it was stripped from the textbooks—dismissed as outdated, unnecessary, unprovable. But in the silence that followed, many began to ask: What was really lost?

In Netism, aether is understood as a living field that gives rise to form, frequency, and flow. It is the substrate behind all energetic movement. As ideas like scalar energy, longitudinal waves, and field resonance re-enter the conversation, what was hidden begins to return.

Why do you think the concept of aether was removed, and what do you believe is resurfacing now through its return?
