Netism is all about our connections; the Net connects all conscious beings. People who are new to Netism don’t always understand this right away. A lot of people say that it sounds like science fiction. What was once a global truth—all religions spoke of this interconnection—is now in the domain of imagination for much of society.

The modern world programs us into a worldview of isolation and competition. In dense places, like cities, empathy is incredibly low. People live stacked on top of each other and still feel alone. They pass hundreds of faces each day and learn to feel nothing. They are taught to protect their energy by closing off, to get ahead by outcompeting others, and to measure their worth through status, possession, and control. This creates the appearance of strength, though what it really produces is fragmentation. A person cut off from others becomes cut off from themselves.

This is why separation is the root illusion. It is the first distortion that gives rise to countless others. Once a person believes they are fundamentally separate from the rest of life, the whole structure of fear begins to grow. They fear loss because they think they stand alone. They fear others because they see them as threats, obstacles, or resources. They fear nature because they no longer experience themselves as part of it. They even fear their own inner life, because without connection, there is no stable ground to hold what arises within.

This false perception seeds many of the deepest problems in human life. Greed becomes possible when one forgets that taking from the whole is also taking from oneself. Cruelty becomes easier when another being is no longer felt as real. Exploitation becomes normal when land, animals, and people are reduced to objects outside the self. The illusion of separation is the foundation of our economic, social, political, relational, and spiritual systems. It enters every structure built by human hands.

So many people are trapped in this worldview of separation, so interconnection is commonly dismissed as fantasy. People have been trained to only trust material reality; they see consciousness as isolated to biological organisms, and they forget to consider that light touches all. They consider thoughts and emotions as insignificant because they are not visible or materially palpable, but if we tune into our energy, they can become palpable.

The Net reestablishes the worldview of interconnection. It trains us to remember what we held in between lives in the spiritual realms, and that’s why it resonates. Separation doesn’t resonate with us; it sends us through loops of anxiety, and we become locked into fear-based narratives.

Connection changes this. When a person begins to feel the Net, even in small ways, the nervous system starts to respond differently. Life no longer feels sealed off into isolated episodes, and a deeper continuity begins to emerge. The person senses that what they do matters, that what they heal in themselves affects more than themselves, and that they are being held within a greater structure even when they cannot fully perceive it. This does not erase pain or difficulty, but it does change the context in which those things are lived.

Used to be all about that material gain but after my dad died I realized that you can spend your whole life not really living in a way that matters. Stopped trying to impress the world and got into nature now thats where I feel most alive.

Its an ongoing process… like when I get stuck in stress I forget all about how connected I am but I have times when I remember… need to do more yoga and meditation 🧘‍♀️🪷
