The Limits of Perfection: Choosing Harmony Over Utopia in the forum The Young Man and the Sage Discussion 1 week, 3 days ago
Perfection is a mirage—compelling from afar, corrosive up close. A key Stoic insight is that every action carries a cost as well as a reward. Nothing arrives free of trade-offs; sometimes the price is less than ideal, yet the overall gain is still worth it. In such a world, “perfect” is structurally impossible: the good always drags some bad in it…[Read more]

Cracking the Cosmic Egg: Orphic, Vedic, and Egyptian Beginnings in the forum Mythology, Archetypes & Folklore 1 week, 3 days ago
The Cosmic Egg is a theme that shows up in several places in ancient myths about the origin of the universe. Here, I’ll give an overview of the myth in Greece, India, and Egypt, and compare them to Netism’s analogy.
Orphic Greece: In the Orphic tradition, creation begins with a luminous cosmic egg formed by primordial Time (Chronos) and Necessity…[Read more]

The Role of Women in Ancient Egypt in the forum Ancient Egypt: Wisdom, Mystery & Eternal Light 1 week, 3 days ago
Passing family names through the women is older than doin it through men….. women were the heads of the family, and it makes sense to me.. some traditions still do this and they say its how it always has been

Reading Walls Like Schematics: decoding sacred geometry by function, not symbol in the forum Ancient Technology and Temple Design 1 week, 5 days ago
What if the fastest way to understand an ancient site isn’t to ask “what does this symbol mean?” but “what job does this shape do?” Engineers don’t draw icons; they draw functions—channels, chambers, couplers, drains. Crossroads: Symbols of Choice, Liminality, and Nexus Points in the forum Ancient and Sacred Symbolism 1 week, 5 days ago

Dreamscape Architecture: Rebuilding the Places That Repeat in the forum Dream Logs & Astral Insights 1 week, 6 days ago
Some dream settings keep coming back. We find ourselves wandering the same hallway, coastline, or half-finished building. These “repeating places” are the brain reusing stable layouts to process ongoing themes.
Houses often point to self-structure and boundaries.
Schools and exam halls flag competence loops and unfinished training.
Hotels and…[Read more] -

Yes shade is really important for a lot of plants like you cant even grow a lot of things in the summer time if you dont have trees around but even more than that trees kind of direct chemical signals….. the root systems have fungi that transport nutrients.
