The thread I’m working on releasing is the need to control everything. At work, I tend to micromanage every detail. It’s exhausting, for me and everyone around me. I always thought staying on top of everything was part of being responsible, but really, it’s coming from fear.
I’m learning that things don’t fall apart just because I’m not involved in every step. People do better when they’re trusted. I’m practicing letting go in small ways.
